MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How does the trade-in service work?

    The AMI For Ever trade-in service is limited to persons aged 18 and over, and residing in France, Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands. 


    Please note that we do not offer trade-in on AMI items in the following categories: underwear, swimwear and lifestyle accessories.
    We do not offer a trade-in on items from the current season or from seasons prior to 2016. 


    Your item must be clean, undamaged  (including the inside brand & care labels) and perfectly functional: no missing elements, no holes or tears, no stains or odours. Items that are stained, damaged and/or need a repair will not be eligible for trade-in credit. 


    The condition of the pieces is defined as follows:
    - Mint condition : these items have never been worn and retain their original outer tags
    - Excellent condition : these items are practically new with no visible signs of wear or flaws
    - Very good condition : these items show only minor signs of wear.

    In line with our eco-responsible and upcycling approach, any item that does not correspond to one of the three conditions mentioned above will be offered to an association specialising in the recovery of textiles or reused by a partner.

    Once the trade-in request has been generated, all you have to do is print the transfer note, sign it and insert it in your package. You can send several pieces in a single package. Please only use one delivery label per package and be sure you keep proof of postage! You can drop off your package at a Post Office, Pickup relay or Chronopost Agency.     Once we’ve received your package, our Quality Experts will check the condition of your items. If the trade-in conditions are met, you will be notified by email within 15 business days (from the date of receipt of your package by our warehouse) about the credit received in your AMI For Ever customer account. Your voucher is credited when your pieces are approved by our Quality Experts. If several of your pieces are accepted, you will be credited with an amount corresponding to the value of all the pieces traded in.

    Please only contact our Customer Service team if the period of 15 business days has passed. You can then generate one or more vouchers at your convenience (date and amount) and use them within 12 months from the date of issue at one of the following three locations:
    - amiparis.com- forever.amiparis.com
    - In AMI stores (excluding department stores).

    The vouchers can be used on all items, and all year.
  • Can I send a piece that has been altered?

    Any item that has been altered and/or modified cannot be traded in.
    In addition, items that are stained, damaged and/or in need of repair, and/or without the inside brand & care label, will not be eligible for trade-in credit. 

    In accordance with our Terms and Conditions and in line with our eco-responsible approach, we do not return items to you that do not comply with our trade-in conditions.

    Don’t worry, any refused pieces still get a second life! They will be passed on to an organisation that specialises in the recovery of textiles or will be reused and upcycled by a partner organisation.
  • How are the pieces reconditioned?

    Each piece is restored to commercial condition and retagged. It is cleaned and ironed using suitable and environmentally friendly processes.
  • How much will I receive?

    When you request a trade-in, our simulator offers a buyback value, between 20% and 50% of the original retail price including tax, depending on the type of product and the condition you declare for each piece.
    This value is confirmed or adjusted if necessary by our reconditioning team, and is credited directly to your AMI For Ever account within 15 business days (from the date of receipt of your package by our Quality Experts).

    Please ONLY contact our Customer Service if the period of 15 business days has passed. If our team finds that the returned pieces do not meet the trade-in conditions and cannot be resold, your account will not be credited.

  • What are the conditions and how do I use my credit?

You will receive your credit as your pieces pass the quality control (processing times differ depending on the condition of the pieces). Please ONLY contact our Customer Service if the period of 15 business days has passed. You can then generate one or more vouchers at your convenience and use them within 12 months from the date of issue at one of the following three locations: - amiparis.com/fr: fill in the “Enter a promo code” section on the “Order summary” page - forever.amiparis.com: fill in the “discount code” section on the personal information page when purchasing - In store (AMI Saint-Honoré and AMI Beaumarchais): please let our sales team know that you have a promo code before proceeding to payment. Vouchers cannot be used for business transactions. They are valid for 12 months.
  • What are the delivery terms following a purchase?

    Please note that Ami For Ever can only deliver online purchases to France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. You can choose between home delivery or pick-up point for the delivery of your online purchase. The package can be delivered to your home or to a pick-up point.
    ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
    We’ll do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
    Belgium/the Netherlands/Germany: 5 to 7 business days
    France: 3 to 5 business days
    Note: delivery times begin on the working day after the order was placed and are indicative. During peak periods, shipping and delivery may take longer than usual.
    FEES
    Belgium/the Netherlands/Germany: delivery costs are €5 for delivery to a pick-up point and €7 for home delivery without a signature required.
    France: delivery costs are €4 for delivery to a pick-up point and €6 for home delivery without a signature required. les frais de livraison sont de 4 € pour une livraison en point relais et de 6 € pour une livraison à domicile sans signature requise.
  • What are the return conditions following a purchase?

    You have a period of 14 days from the date you receive your package to return an item to us.

    Did you place your order from an AMI For Ever account? Here’s what you need to do:
    1. Log in to your account
    2. Select the item(s) to be returned, specifying the reason for the return
    3. Download and print the return slip 4. Drop off your package at a Post Office, Pickup relay or Chronopost Agency.

    Don’t forget to keep your proof of postage!
    Return costs are €3 for AMI For Ever website, deducted from the order refund.

    We do not offer exchanges, only refunds for postal returns. Don't hesitate to place a new order online for the piece you want in another colour or size.
